Description

Blue Cat’s Dynamics is a versatile dynamics processor that can function as a compressor, limiter, gate, expander, or waveshaper. It features a unique two-threshold system and provides detailed visual feedback. The plugin includes filters to control which frequencies are affected, and its continuous VCA/Opto and Peak/RMS controls offer precise envelope detection. It also has advanced stereo features with mid/side processing and multiple linking options. An additional brick wall limiter and clipper with lookahead provide output protection. Three side-chaining modes are available, using an external input, MIDI control, or automation lanes. All features are controllable from a configurable user interface or an external controller. The package includes both mono and stereo versions for optimal CPU usage. For multiband dynamics, Blue Cat’s MB-5 Dynamix or MB-7 Mixer can host this plugin on multiple bands.
