Description

Blue Cat’s FreqAnalyst Multi is a unique real-time spectrum analyzer that can visualize the spectral content of multiple audio tracks on the same screen with high smoothness and resolution. It is a useful tool for mixing, acting as a frequency overlap detector to show which part of the spectrum each instrument occupies. A new ‘Diff’ view allows users to compare the difference between several curves for tasks like EQ matching or response curve measurement.

Overview

Similar to FreqAnalyst Pro, FreqAnalyst Multi offers detailed frequency analysis with three response modes for each of up to 16 channels: instant, peak, or average. Zooming and coordinate displays allow for precise spectrum measurements. The plugin’s advanced routing capabilities let users apply different settings for each track. Four memory slots enable easy A/B comparisons between different setups. The user interface is customizable with opacity management and advanced layout options, and can also be fully customized using Blue Cat’s skinning language. For a single-track spectrum analyzer with a spectrogram and audio-to-MIDI features, Blue Cat’s FreqAnalyst Pro is recommended.
