Description

Blue Cat’s FreqAnalyst Pro is an advanced, real-time spectrum analyzer. It uses the same smooth algorithms as its free counterpart, designed for high resolution and smoothness in both time and frequency. You can manage its precision and rate, and apply an offset or slope. It includes two thresholding systems and adjustable time response with attack and release parameters. The plugin offers three display modes per channel: instant, peak, or average. Zooming and coordinate displays allow for precise measurement. Four memory slots enable easy comparison of different curves.

Overview

A spectrogram view is included to monitor the spectrum’s evolution over time in 2D or 3D (3D waterfall mode), with exact coordinates and zooming. The plugin also provides output parameters to control other effects in real-time, generating automation envelopes or MIDI CC messages based on the minimum, maximum, and energy center of the spectrum. You can customize the generation of these parameters with transformation controls. This functionality allows you to control any effect with the pitch of an audio signal, enabling unique side chain effects.
