Description

Manic Compressor is a powerful and intuitive tool for mix engineers, designed with true parallel compression at its core. It features six unique compressor models that can be switched instantly without changing settings, allowing you to quickly find the best fit for your audio. The plugin also includes two EQ sections: a Sidechain EQ for precise control over how the compressor reacts to the signal, and a Tone EQ for creating unique and creative sounds.

Parallel-O-Grammys

Built from the ground up for parallel compression, Manic Compressor provides separate faders for compressed (Wet), uncompressed (Dry), and master levels. This offers true parallel compression within a single plugin. For more subtle effects, the Wet and Dry faders can also be used together as a single mix knob.

With Manic Compressor’s six distinct compressor models, you can switch between them instantly to hear their tonal effects and impact on your mix without losing perspective. Built-in Tone And Sidechain EQ

Manic Compressor simplifies the process of using EQ in compression by including two dedicated sections. The Sidechain EQ, which is not audible, affects the signal going into the detector, allowing you to fine-tune how the compressor responds to different frequencies. The Tone EQ, which affects the audio output, gives you creative control to shape your sound, especially in a parallel compression setup.

Bringing Transients Into Sharp Relief

Among its innovative features, Manic Compressor includes “Loud Relief,” a control that allows you to apply extreme amounts of compression while softening the compressor’s grip on loud transients. This results in a more natural dynamic response even under heavy loads, preventing harsh artifacts.
