Description
Sigmund features four discrete delay units, each with its own independent set of parameters, allowing for extensive sound-shaping freedom.
Flexible Routing
The four delay lines can be interconnected using a choice of nine different routing topologies, enabling completely new dimensions of sound creation.
Outstanding Quality
The signal processing implemented in Sigmund achieves an unprecedented level of audio quality. Signals suffer no loss in fidelity or undesirable artifacts, as each delay line is absolutely alias-free, ensuring only intentionally created sonic colorations are heard.
Intuitive Design
Sigmund’s user interface is designed to be highly intuitive, with a clean and clear layout providing instant access to sections and parameters. A convenient preset browser, combined with a novel system of padlocks for locking individual parameter sets when changing presets, allows for efficient effect selection.
Multitude Of Purposes
Sigmund can be used as an insert or send effect. Beyond functioning as a delay, it can also be used as a:
- Tremolo
- Filter
- Limiter
- Distortion
- Chorus – from small delay time values
- Flanger – from small delays with feedback added
- Spatializer – by applying delays on delay lines with different signal domains (M/S or L/R) and phase shifts between channels
- Mastering / Bus dynamic processor – using modulators as transient-triggerable envelopes affecting signal’s amplitude for precise dynamics control.
