Description

The H910 Harmonizer was the world’s first digital effects processor, combining pitch shifting, modulation, and delay. Its sound has been featured on numerous recordings by famous artists, from AC/DC to Frank Zappa. The H910 plug-in is a faithful recreation of this iconic hardware.

Two Is Better Than One

When you buy the H910 Harmonizer plug-in, you also get the H910 Dual Harmonizer, which emulates the popular technique of using two H910 units in parallel for effects like lush doubling. The H910 plug-in is a powerful creative tool for creating musical intervals and harmonies, fattening snares, de-tuning synths, and adding slap-back delays. Extreme settings can produce unique mechanical and drone sounds through self-oscillation, delay, and anti-feedback.

The Glitch Is Back

The original H910’s pitch-changing method introduced random “glitches,” which became a creative tool for artists. When a later model, the H949, was introduced without the glitch, some users were disappointed. This plug-in faithfully emulates the original’s unique glitches and other quirks.

Organic Feel To The Sound

The original hardware’s system clocks drifted, adding a degree of randomness not found in later precise digital devices. This randomness, combined with the glitch and analog signal path, gave the sound an “organic” feel, which is recreated in the plug-in.

True End To End Emulation

Eventide meticulously modeled every part of the original’s analog signal chain. The H910 hardware was a mix of analog and digital components, predating modern ADC and DSP chips. Its distinctive sound was a result of a custom analog-to-digital converter, companding, filtering, and analog feedback, all of which are accurately re-created in this plug-in.
