Description

The Steinway Model B Grand Piano for Pianoteq is a meticulously crafted virtual instrument, authorized by Steinway & Sons. Known for its balanced, versatile character, the Steinway Model B is often hailed as the “perfect piano” by pianists.

This virtual grand piano was carefully design to reproduce the finest sound characteristics of the Martha Argerich Edition Steinway & Sons Model B-211 instrument that was select by Modartt for this project. With advanced features like sympathetic resonances, continuous velocity, and limitless customization, all within a tiny file size and instant loading time, Pianoteq’s Model B sets a new standard for virtual pianos.

Presets for every style. The Steinway Model B comes with a rich selection of presets to suit any musical environment. Choose presets like Improv, Prelude, Bright, Gentle or Felt I & II for expressive performances, or explore cinematic tones with Cinematic, Dreamy or Cosmic presets. For practice or live performance, Player, Under Lid, Close Mic or Distant Mic will provide flexibility in microphone positioning and tonal character, wheras for recording, you may chose among Recording 1, 2 or 3 depending on the music style.

Pianoteq is lightweight, fast and compatible with PC, Mac, Linux and iOS, supporting both standalone and plugin modes for VST3, AAX, LV2 and AudioUnits hosts.
