Description

Brass Stacks is a fully customizable combination of 13 uniquely sampled brass instruments, including Trumpet, French Horn, Flugelhorn, Piccolo Trumpet, and a vintage Strings Synth, with multiple textures and styles. World-class brass musicians were brought in to sample every playable note on each instrument. It features real instruments in real spaces with the full functionality of a synthesizer, including comprehensive effects. The plugin was created to provide natural-textured brass for composition, pads, or leads, by sampling non-traditional brass techniques.

The 10 sampled instruments, plus two sampled vintage synthesizer brass sounds, bring an organic quality. They can be used as solo instruments or blended in infinite configurations to create new hybrid tones. A fully customizable arpeggiator gives these brass timbres synthesizer functionality while retaining the character of real instruments. Tone shaping includes AHDSR, a choice of filter, 3 custom LFOs (Gain, Pitch, Filter), and 5 onboard effects.

Uniquely Sampled

Nightfox Audio focuses on embracing imperfections, such as grit, fretbuzz, and subtle clanks, which is different from typical samples to replicate instruments as new. The goal is to capture the vibrations of sound wandering in and out of phase and tune. No notes were skip during the sampling process, ensuring the full scope of each instrument’s sonic integrity without pitch shifting. Nightfox Audio plugins aim to bring unique sound combinations while staying true to the organic nature of each instrument.

Creative Layer Options

The organic tones can be stack to create incredibly fresh combinations. Each sound layer can be use as a solo instrument or blended in infinite configurations to create brand new hybrid tones.
