Slate Digital took all the fullness, tone, and warmth of one of the most classic vintage Opto compressors in history and blew the doors off it by adding speed, ratio, and 4 new tone control settings so you can shape your sound to perfection in seconds. Custom Opto gives you a degree of precision never before available with this kind of Opto compressor.
We pored over every aspect of classic Optos—from the components to the tubes, to the unique properties of the optical cell. We mapped every feature, obsessively modeling everything we could lay our hands on.
