Description

The Origins Bundle is a collection of inspiring instrument pairs, allowing users to create a musical journey with instruments from different cultures. It is noted that a FULL version of Native Instruments’ KONTAKT is required to use this product, as the free Kontakt player only runs in demo mode.

What This Bundle Includes

The bundle includes 10 solo ethnic VST instruments, combined into 5 instrument pairs with interlocked arpeggios. An exclusive feature of this bundle is that each instrument is also available as a solo NKI-Instrument for Kontakt.

Multi-Arpeggio-Designer

At the heart of the product is the Multi-Arpeggio-Designer (MAD), which generates interlocking patterns and soundscapes by combining the tones of two instruments through two customizable arpeggiators. The engine is designed to mimic a human performance. Users can either load one of over 100 presets or create their own, bringing their musical vision to life with the MAD’s many features and controls.

Copy Arpeggio Designs Between All Origins Instruments

Users can easily copy and paste their custom arpeggio patterns to use them with any other ORIGINS product.

Colors Menu

The 12 different color presets offer more ways to shape the sound. Each with its own distinct personality, impulse responses, and effects settings. While each MAD preset has a color already assigned, users are free to mix and match them, providing over 1200 distinct combinations.

10 Brand-New Solo VST Instruments

In addition to the 5 instrument pairs, the bundle provides each of the 10 ethnic VST instruments as a solo NKI-instrument, offering more flexibility in sound selection. The included pairs are:

• Muted Guitar & Harmonics: Two electric guitars played and processed differently for a modern, cinematic sound.
• Tar & Chonguri: The pure sound of the Persian Tar combined with the warm timbre of the Georgian Chonguri.
• Fado Guitar & Cavaquinho: The metallic Fado Guitar from Portugal paired with the joyful Cavaquinho, which influenced instruments like the ukulele.
• Ronroco & Bouzouki: The mystical, double-stringed Ronroco from the Andes combined with the twangy, long-necked Bouzouki from Greece.
• Contrabass Panduri & Tanbur: The rare, low-registry Georgian Contrabass Panduri paired with the ancient Middle-Eastern Tanbur.
