Description
It’s an audio streaming audio world—whether for music, podcasts, YouTube, games, broadcast, movie trailers, commercials, or other media. WLM Plus gives you the confidence to know your audio is fully compliant with all current ITU, EBU, and ATSC specifications, and hits crucial target levels.
WLM Plus is loaded with extras. Tweak levels, using the plugin’s precision peak limiter and gain trim. Check multiple formats, with short- and long-term readings—and even log the results.
Complete Compliance
WLM is fully compliant with all current loudness measurement standards: the 2nd-generation ITU-R BS.1770-3 protocol, the up-and-coming EBU R 128 standard, and ATSC A/85 for broadcast and digital television.
Multiple Measurement Methods
Choose from the EBU’s detailed measurement methods, the LM1 protocol that averages loudness across an entire program, or DIAL, which uses dialog as the loudness anchor for measuring and averaging loudness.
Measure Audio Over Time with Comprehensive Weighting
WLM incorporates frequency weighting based on the Fletcher-Munson curve, as well as timescales (Momentary, Short Term, Integrated, or True Peak) to measure audio behavior over time.
No Limits Except for Precise Limiting
You can fix audio levels within WLM there’s no need to go back and forth between plugins. The True Peak limiter uses Waves’ acclaimed limiting technology to tame peaks, while a Gain trim control sets the final output.
Presets for Common Level Requirements
WLM includes presets that fulfill the most common post-production and content requirements. Even generate CSV log files, to document the readings of all 3 measurement methods simultaneously.
