Description

Perfect loops need imperfect moments. Digital production makes every repeat clean, stable and identical. Pitch Dropout 2 adds the slips, stalls and worn patches that make playback feel alive and interesting. More than pitch drops. Not every dropout has to bend the tuning. Use the same movement to add noise, darken the tone or destabilize the stereo image – while Warble keeps the tape gently moving between events. Create worn, muted interruptions with the pitch left intact, or combine every layer for the sound of a machine falling apart. Our LoFi Series lets you combine different kinds of movement, wear and texture. Pair Pitch Dropout 2 with Drifter, Flux Machine, Tapestop and Playtime – then blend to taste.
